Finally I managed to create a piece with the textures I always wanted on my drawings, so maybe I can take that accomplishment as a good omen for this year, right?

I don't care that AI Gen can look pretty, or that sometimes you can't tell it apart. I don't want glossy images pumped out from unethically scraped data, I want art MADE BY REAL PEOPLE because I'm in love with art as an organic, human-made process that connects us and adds meaning to our lives.

I was finally able to buy a tablet and Maomao was the perfect candidate to test it. Gotta say it is definitely easier to draw on it than on my phone, the only problem is that colors look slightly different from one screen to the other and that's kind of underwhelming...
