I’ve been doing volunteer reading with seven year 2 children at my daughter’s primary school this year and I did my final session of the year yesterday. They are such brilliant young people & they have been the highlight of my week 🥲 one of them wrote me the sweetest note in my notebook

Saw Goblin Band at the Bristol Folk House last night, what an incredible delight they were. If you get the chance to see them, do. They also reminded us all to write to our MPs. Each of us have a voice we need to use.

I'm sick of seeing this deceptive pattern after booking something, where there is "cash back" offered using a £ symbol yet there is a monthly cost associated with it that is shown without a £ symbol hidden in a block of text that clearly wants to hide it.

David Lynch’s death has hit really hard. He has been such a big part of the trajectory of my life. I doubt I’d have met or married my husband without his work to bring us together. Photo by Dan Clearly, taken outside the Big Boy diner in Burbank where he drank coffee & wrote ideas on napkins.
