I feel like every game I went to from 2001-2006 Trachsel was pitching. As a young fan, I didn't care that he was the human rain delay - I was enjoying being at the game! Plus he gave me ample time to score the game 😂

Also my brain immediately flashed this card when I read the name Kazuhisa Ishii.

I remember the Mets making the trade for Ishii quite well. It was during spring training and I remember being sorta bummed to see Jason Phillips go.

Jeez, yeah he's a blast from the past! They traded for him after Ordonez got hurt.
