This is why I'm skeptical about soil C markets - soil management might bump up topsoil C but if it doesn't move to the subsoil then can't be sure of permanence over typical rotations. Lots of other reasons to increase SOC though

That suggests there are SOC benefits of no-till in the topsoil but little evidence of subsoil accumulation. My thought was organic systems are not gaining even that topsoil advantage despite higher C inputs. AFAIK topsoil - subsoil C dynamics aren't well understood in any system

I couldn't see anything on tillage practices in the paper - could that explain the results with organic typically being more reliant on inversion tillage?

Outlook on mobiles default is "reply-all" with no way to change it - just needs someone to enable Copilot to auto respond and that'll be the apocalypse

Apparently the University is withdrawing the UniCycles scheme because of the Voi bikes starting up.
Don't know how the costs compare, but UniCycles was an assigned bike per users at £30 for 3 months

I've still got an untouched box of 50 hard copies provided by a journal specifically for this purpose.
People requesting copies of open access papers via Research Gate is a bit much though.

ECRs should definitely be encouraged to review - as part of their performance metrics? They're also probably more clued into the state of the art.
Also editors - stop requesting review turn around within 10 days, that's a big turn off

Is it booking company inefficiency, or does the travel/accommodation provider spot a corporate booking and price gouge? They know the client is likely time and destination restricted and less price sensitive.
