You're right he was sworn in on March 11, seven weeks later. And he still waited a year after that to begin investigating Trump and others in his circle and over 18 months to appoint a special prosecutor. 🤦🏻♀️

There was no legal reason why the DOJ couldn't have a separate criminal investigation while congress did their own. It should have started on Biden's first day in office. It didn't. That's on Merrick Garland.

Sadly, even Merrick Garland was backed up for over a year while the Select Cttee did their review. In truth, the outcome of that review ought to have compelled appropriate action by congress. It’s Mitch McConnell and all the people who voted against impeachment who are responsible for this mess.
