If I wasn't so old I might consider buying a new car, but for the little driving I do in Ny 2014 extremely low mileage BMW 5 series. If I were to buy another car it would be an electric as I am a highly productive solar customer. But one this is certain; it will not be a Tesla.

I dropped a full jar of pickles on the kitchen floor. Pickles, glass, and juice everywhere. I hate that but I've got to have my pickles!

It was a beautiful spring-like day here in lovely Camarillo and I needed groceries. Instead of going to my local Ralphs the chariot and I headed across town to the new Vons. I was disappointed and couldn't find several items in my list. And eggs were $12. So I finished at and will stick with Ralphs.

I had a flashback this morning to the old days when I attended meetings at work and took notes on my palm pilot. I was pretty good at "graffiti", the text input tool. In later days I continued with my Motorola Droid, one of the first smartphones.

Happy birthday President George Washington. I hate to say it but you're better off dead than seeing what has become of your office. It is a travesty and you would be appalled as are most Americans.

I took advantage of today's spring-like weather to clean up the front of the house, but the breeze kept blowing the mess everywhere. I got the bulk of it but got tired of chasing leaves.

I awoke this morning and I. My way downstairs I noticed there was a pool of water in the floor and I thought another slab leak. It wAs just a glass of water the cat toppled over. Thank goodness.

I never really lost service. It never occurred to me until I looked at the error app. That backup alone is worth the cost of the new router.

Got my Internet working again today. I don't know how long it has been down. My eero mesh router knew it was down and automatically switched me to my next door neighbor's internet (with their permission).

I don't know how cold it got last night but when I turned off the lights it was down into the 40s.

As if the smoke from the Castaic fire isn't bad enough I managed to burn a tamale in the microwave. Door open, fan on, hopefully it will get better. Glass microwave platter is stained. Fortunately no other damage. The tamale was cremated.

I'm having cabin fever. I want to go outside but with the fires and the wind, not to mention the bad air quality, I have to stay indoors. I almost went out for lunch today but bailed at the last minute. Maybe tomorrow?

The sky is yellow in Camarillo from the smoke of the Castaic fire. It isn't nearby but the smoke is heavy.
