There's a difference be AI-Gen Slop and a machine learning tools and learning AIs.
We all hate AI-slop.
But something like text predictions aren't AI. That's machine learning.

the issue is "AI" is a marketing term.
machine learning can and has been used in medical research. but it's not chatgpt or its ilk, nor is it remotely similar, except in the broadest sense of "they're machine learning models".
and it certainly won't cure cancer without human input.
