There are so many facilities on the Gulf Coast that are eligible to apply for no-questions-asked passes from the Trump administration to ignore pollution laws. So far EPA hasn't even made public which facilities are asking for them

Today we celebrated Earth Day in Murray, Kentucky, and my kiddo and I biked to go touch grass (and snakes and turtles) and then tested our new solar-powered charging bench at the pocket park on the square where our very good weekly farmers market starts up again soon. 10/10

This is Broadway Street in Cape Girardeau. It makes a walk from the university to the busy riverfront so compelling, so easy. Why is it I could think only about how the very simple infrastructure that enables it would be so confusing to Houston Mayor John Whitmire he’d spend $500,000 to rip it out

Uptown Houston. It’s heartbreaking that Gerald Hines never developed the Williams Tower a partner — it’s been standing apart like this since 1983, alone, proud, casting a light across the city, hoping its fastidious rectitude would be enough. Tragic.
