Teaching can be very stressful in these modern times , but I work in a small country school with a small forest as part of our property. Today was forest day for my SK/1 science class and it was spectacular !

This is Tony- he is a faithful watcher over the backyard, keeping us safe from bunnies, chillies, and squirrels. He’s a rescue and I love that he has grown to trust and accept us.

And we also should remember that he was on the verge of using it again to until unionized workers stood up to him. I really believe that surprised him- he is so disconnected from the reality and opinions of average people. Anything for a buck… or more accurately more bucks for the rich.

Here is our rescue- he is grumpy, snappy and unpredictable, loves to cuddle( on his own terms) and greets me with big doggie smiles when I get home after work. He has my heart.❤️
