This is a picture from my Affordable Care Act portal. My monthly premium is $346.46 with the ACA subsidies. If they don’t get extended my monthly premium will skyrocket to $1706.59 January 1st. That’s without co-pays, prescriptions or emergencies. Republicans won’t budge so here we are #shutdown 🤷🏻♀️

Just so everyone understands what the police presence looks like at the protest outside the Metropolitan Detention Center in DTLA. This was Sunday. You think we need the National Guard and the Marines?! Talk about waste and fraud.

This is how powerful the wind is out here in Los Angeles. This is what firefighters are dealing with, and the level of destruction is surreal. My heart is broken. I have close friends who’ve lost their homes, and my car is packed in case we have to go. #palisadesfire

This fire is worse than anything I’ve seen in 20+ years here. It’s the windstorm, just awful 😞
