in sweden, when i went to a high school that was a bit away i was issued a card for free bus/train rides, and used it to take the train every day. not sure how things are now, but it was pretty standard back then.

people in the US only ever bring up sweden as a weapon. they have no actual knowledge of the culture or context, they just want to score points.
swedens response was ok (i would have preferred harsher but i'm an outlier), and the result was average. it would have been catastrophic for the US tho lol
