i think i've just come a very long way when it comes to drawing people and faces idk

And not feel like a deep sort of despair about it. Idk. With digital art it just feels like I’m in an endless rat race to get better and I’m losing hard. But with traditional art I just get to kinda fuck around yknow? I can do whatever. It doesn’t matter if it sucks. It’s not job it’s hobby.

Gouache and graphite are like on polar opposite ends of ‘things I’m comfortable with doing’. Like, I was never properly taught how to paint. I just kinda winged it all this time. But I think this turned out pretty good? And I can even like look at this and think ‘I can get better’
