Gothic lit and films were a big inspiration on Blood Honey, and fans of the Hitchcock film “Rebecca” might note the significance of a school called “Manderlay” burning down in a blaze of glory.

The image of Vanessa and Edgar fighting atop a burning gothic castle-school was one of the first strong images I came up with for the book. It nails what the book is all about. A festering heartbreak that snowballs into something endlessly destructive.

Hey there! We’re a very DIY operation so sadly, we don’t have distribution for Danger Boi at the moment. But I really feel you on those international shipping costs.
