part two is "actually design the armor", it turns out that while protecting against small arms is fairly easy (an FAL firing 7.62x51 only maxes at 42 damage), further protection (compared to .50 BMG) runs up against the limits of the design system, the best TL9 material only allows up to 70 DR

i am now messing with the armor design rules, part one "how much surface area does this guy even have" is answered with "less than i expected", the real world math says ~105 and the official rules say ~120 and i went with 120 because he is very big so i think that's fair

and yes i already did the calculations for him throwing the baseballs, obviously. currently "only" ST 50 but I'm undecided on if I want to raise it.

this does also wind up producing a noticeable difference in aesthetics (left 4 are not mine and are just placeholders, obviously, rightmost is an adoptable, i am the owner)
