👍🏻 4 the asparagus donated from a plot holder who's moved out. Transferred it over in early March, hasn't it done well? Pond has a new pump, this one with a battery and filter, water's good though, with lots of frogs and this year's batch of tadpoles. "Ne'er cast a clout till May be out"🌱

The poached egg plant is really loving my allotments clay soil. Been cutting it back and piling in the centres keeping the soil nice & damp for the worms. Today I'll be adding some comfrey and in a couple weeks courgettes will go in. Already got a few lotto rosso in the corners, cool in the shade 🌱
