While everybody’s lamenting about the sculpture’s purpose and its lack of heroic grandeur, I can tell that if you put aside that need for instant gratification you’ll see humanity of the underdog among the giants. Much like Michelangelo’s “David” it’s an affirmation of strength in everyday people
