GCs can’t be having their messiahs name covered. This isn’t a women’s rights group, it’s a cult. Only art that’s allowed is art they agree with. Only last week they were picking fights with the Quakers telling them their beliefs are all wrong.

I won’t vote SNP again. I live in an area where it likely won’t matter anyway but I’d rather know I spent my vote for a fairer Scotland than spend it on any of the parties protecting the rich, trashing the environment and making life worse for everyday folk.

It sort of is, the SPCB is made up of MSPs. I don’t see the Green Party member supporting the change which means the agreement was likely 3v1 with the SNP swinging it as Lab and Con would obviously vote to exclude.

Politics, not for trans people, at least not anymore, because no trans women is ever going to use the men’s, so no trans woman will be in the Scottish parliament. It’s a shame the SNP can’t see this.

If we are using 17th century positions to admonish the Quakers then Sex Matters need to acknowledge as per 17th c UK legislation, as “women” they have no legal or civil rights and so need to shut up about bathrooms and politics.

Good to see the tories with their finger on the pulse of the country, we don’t want wealth equality, what we need are flags (but only the non rainbow kind)
May 15, 2025 at 10:57 PM
Except the case in question never gave anyone the authority to unilaterally ban trans people from bathrooms and the EHRC interim guidance is just that, guidance and still subject to the requirement it be “proportional”. An actual enforceable ban requires an act of parliament.

So where do trans women go then? If men are such a danger, why would you put trans women there? Or have we started segregating water by sex now? Truth is, you don’t care where trans folks go, just so long as you don’t see one right? And to think they call trans folks snowflakes.
May 10, 2025 at 6:03 PM
@snp.org Honestly, I’d rather have reform. At least they’re clear on how they’d treat LGBT folks. You however were supposed to be allies, then you allowed cruel unchecked segregation of trans folks and stopped the banning of conversion therapy? Fair weather allies are no friends at all.

Has he shit. My MP doesn’t respond to emails without a 60 day turnaround and even then he thinks whatever his Tory ringmasters tell him to think, not what his constituents want.

They seem more concerned with preserving their political image than risking court challenges to fight for what’s right
May 2, 2025 at 11:57 AM
We’ve tried hating the poor, we’ve tried hating immigrants and we’ve tried hating the disabled. At some point we have to try environmentalism and empathy

Nice sleight of hand. They are banned for the performers though.

I’m not sure that really works. Killing every oil CEO wouldn’t stop the world still wanting to drive cars and use plastics. They’d just hire new ceos

Think you missed the point, he did it to prevent universal population exceeding resources, not to wipe out some villains. If anything he was in a weird way saving the environment from unsustainable use.
April 27, 2025 at 12:27 AM
It didn’t though, it heard from the Scottish government and a human rights group, none of them are trans. Not any actual trans groups with trans people. But there was an abundance of gender critical groups all of whom are actually gender critical. Don’t pretend like trans folks were represented
April 27, 2025 at 12:24 AM
Heard it here first folks, No1 reason to be an English bootlicker, because the greens aren’t cruel enough to trans folks. Can’t make it up
April 27, 2025 at 12:19 AM
So, didn’t speak to actual trans people like I said. Appreciate you confirming that. It’s good that we can reach agreement on some things 😊
April 26, 2025 at 6:23 PM
Pretty sure the fundamental error was that the Supreme Court decided it didn’t need to speak to trans people. Even if it would have still reached the same decision, it should have directed the government to legislate for trans rights. You acknowledge 2 vulnerable groups but only one came out “safe”
April 25, 2025 at 12:25 PM
And Trump is a sex offender, we can argue over which is worse but the point is still valid
