Watching the Detroit Tigers, where in addition to the game, it’s Magnum PI Day. They had Tom Selleck in the booth, he’s telling stories, talks about Faye Dunaway…
…and the Tigers started getting on base. The announcers continue saying “Faye Dunaway” and the Tigers are now up 7-6, top of the 6th!

At my dentist appt earlier this week I offered the hygienist some of the Michigan blueberries I’d frozen, as my husband had an appt with her today and could bring them with him. His dentist appt was early, at 7:00 am, and I didn’t want him to forget, so I posted this reminder:

Last night was a good night for Mudcats baseball, reminiscing, and fireworks.
We saw Cabrera play in 2003. Later that summer, he was called up to the Florida Marlins. We tracked him as a Marlin and 5 years later he was a Detroit Tiger! We always enjoyed his success, felt like “we knew him when.”
