Hurricane #Melissa has made landfall in Jamaica. The National Hurricane Center said Melissa landed as a Category 5 hurricane near New Hope with maximum sustained winds of 295 km/h (185 mph) with an estimated minimum central pressure of 892 millibars - one of the strongest on record.
