Many will drop coverage due to high premiums and high deductibles.

This is part of the plan. Strikes against the US just provide a basis for further consolidation of authoritarian power. They welcome them, since they don't give a shit about the peons who will die or be maimed in attacks

You are mixing up Medicare premiums with ACA premiums, I think. ACA premiums are increasing due to failure to renew Biden Admin enhanced subsidies. That has nothing to do with Medicare drug plan premiums. Those may increase for some, but for different reasons.

If only the men had the balls to ask hard questions...

As a North Carolinian, all I can say is No Shit Sherlock.

Error: North Carolina adopted and implemented Expansion. Your chart is out of date.

Well there's also caveat emptor.

Agreed. It's tough to get young people engaged with any kind of politics. While I support progressive ideas, what I most support is politicians who can get elected and are committed to rebuilding democracy, starting with figuring out how to end gerrymandering, which is something most people want.

Sorry - there are a lot of people commenting on NC politics who don't live here, so I think it's a reasonable question. And I don't block people just because I might not agree. I don't want to exist in an echo chamber. I am interested in who people think would be good candidates who could win.
July 29, 2025 at 3:56 PM
Who? Do you have any suggestions? Or are you unfamiliar with NC politics?
July 29, 2025 at 2:56 PM
Actually, kind of a depressing place because of very bad GOP gerrymandering. But some good people, like Roy Cooper. And others.
July 29, 2025 at 2:23 AM
You need to learn a bit about North Carolina and Roy Cooper. He was a pit bull about getting Medicaid expanded. He fought with GOP for years and never let go. Finally got GOP on board.

No. I think you make a very good point. But one needs to be realistic.

Budd is not in a swing district. He is in the Senate which is elected statewide and is not up for reelection until 2028.
July 4, 2025 at 4:36 PM
Not a new idea. She pondered the same in 2024.
July 4, 2025 at 4:34 PM
Well, it's still probably the backup plan. Keeping options open
July 4, 2025 at 4:33 PM
Do you know who was the Republican candidate for Gov in 2024 and just how incredibly awful he was?
June 9, 2025 at 9:15 PM
I think you don't know anything about NC politics and history. How long have you lived here?

Done! Easy peasey
