Today a man tried to convince me that paying taxes is illegal and the Supreme Court ruled it that way. And they just don’t want us to know that it should be the employers paying it on our behalf. I just listened because it’s not worth the argument. But he couldn’t tell me where he found this info.

Same people yelling and whining about self-checkout and automation at Walmart cutting jobs are the same ones cheering on the usage of AI to weed out “unnecessary jobs” in our government.

Layoffs everywhere. But not enough jobs because we gotta make cuts. So, what happens to the economy then? They have no aid. But the rich weren’t making enough profit?! We need to cut because they need better returns?! When does it end?! When is enough enough?!?!!

May I just say….God bless English teachers! Teaching impactful ways to use language to get an emotion or visual or point across that has multiple meanings and creates art and feeling. So much strength and power in words. What a gift.

I actually just feel like screaming. This week has been too too much. I can’t believe we’re back in this spot. I can’t believe half the country has been completely duped. I’m incredibly sad and anxious and angry and tired. It’s breaking news after breaking news full of heartbreak.
