Post arm cast. Very bruised. He’s back in another one for 4 more weeks. Bone just wasn’t setting the way they wanted it to so they’re hoping it’ll be better in another cast

First photo was while in the splint. His bone did shift but they think being in a cast will hold it in place - which is the second photo after the cast was placed. Dr says there is a 5% chance of surgery but he’s pretty positive he won’t need it.

Big thoughts for little man! Tomorrow is finally our Orthopedic appointment. I’m praying that he doesn’t need surgery.

Sterling is doing well. His arm is propped on a pillow, and he's just laying in bed watching his favorite YouTube shows. They'll call ortho on Monday. Thanks to everyone for all the good vibes!

Sterling Update: He is in a splint and sling until we can be seen by orthopedics. (Fingers crossed he won’t need surgery) Pain killers have worn off so he is pretty uncomfortable right now. Biggest concern for tonight is sleep. I’m worried he isn’t gonna get much. 😕
