Why would anyone in the United States want to have children? The Republicans in Congress dislike children of all ages. And children grow up and become old people. Republicans also dislike old people. Look at the cuts in Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security that are coming.

The issue is that Republicans in office in Congress and at the state & local level believe that taking money and resources from the poor and giving it to the rich is a righteous thing to do. I believe we should use tax revenue to protect our citizens from disasters - man made and natural.

Money is important to live. Lots of money is nice to have. Extraordinarily amounts of money will absolutely corrupt men and women who are complacent about human life. We must take care of our children and our parents and grandparents. We must take care of the sick and the poor.

Agreed. It is not Texas voters. The loss of life is horrible. I cannot imagine how the families that lost their children are handling this. Take time out of your day to reflect on your blessings and pray for the families that lost their children.

Why would anyone go to a state who judges people by the color of their skin or their sex or how much money they don’t have. If you are a resident of the US, you have due process. We should not detain people without due process.
