Many reasons for people to feel that way.
Maybe they are jealous because they think it's easy for streamers to get sponsorships and they think you're low effort --- but they don't realize how much effort it is to stream.
Maybe they're jealous that they aren't getting those offers themselves.

I'm so absolutely glad that it was a bad experience but nothing more. Long COVID is everything but fun, from what I can read.
As far as I can tell, my partner and I yet have to get COVID. We still have no idea how we went through the wave.
