i feel ashamed for taking so long to commit to veganism, knowing that dairy cows are forcibly impregnated continually and then immediately separated from their calves until theyre slaughtered at 1/4 of their natural lifespan makes me embarrassed for ever making the excuse that i like cheese too much

been finally committing to a fully vegan diet, been vegetarian for a few years and avoided all animal products other than some dairy and eggs, but i'm in a more stable place financially and mentally now and happy to no longer be part of perpetuating those horrific industries
