Say hi to Roxy! The newest member of the family!!

Roxy, a calico domestic medium-short haired cat. She's got soft green eyes, slightly squinted, a black nose with a wider base that spreads into her cheeks before a brief island of orange, slightly more orange on her right cheek, but after that brief orange it goes back to black with tiny sparkles of white and orange. Her ears are mottled, mostly black with some orange around the edges and white specks. Her lips and chin are a pale orange that's mostly white, spreading down into her white chest and belly that's bordered in orange(not seen in the picture.) She has little white paws and her arms are splotchy with black, white, and orange. Her body is mostly darker with mottled orange and a little white here and there, brightening tomorange around the hips and white legs with black patches at her knees, and white socks. She's itty bitty! Weighing in at a whopping 2.5 kilograms! She's stretched out on a freshly vacuumed cat tree, looking way bigger than she has any right to, with one paw stretched out towards the camera's right side. She's looking straight at the camera. I think she looks contented

Yesterday I sat in the legislative gallery and observed while the NDP fights for the LGBTQ2+. A place that was filled with hope as we have a voice in the government working for us and with us. @janis.irwin., @sipiysis, @pancholi_rakhi and our other MLAs try so hard in Alberta.

I fear my hope is running quite low. Almost fully diminished. I thought that it would be ridiculous if Trump won. That US cannot be that stupid.

Well, I was wrong. And now, I fear for every LGBTQ+ life within North America.

I don't think many truly understand how much we need to stand together right now.

As Canadian Trump supporters will feel more validated and seen by Amercia, they will band together with their attempts to take away human rights. Not just LGBTQ+ rights, but rights of Indigenous people, people of colour, disabled people, women's rights, and children's.

We all need to work harder against fascist oppressors. Even if we do not all agree with one another. I hope we can all agree that every human deserves rights.

My love goes out to my American siblings. We love you, and we are here with open arms.

Danielle Smith and her spouse have been trying to sell their train car restaurant in High River for awhile. But when prospective buyers look at the books, they quickly learn it is running a deficit. There aren't enough tables to turn a profit, and the kitchen isn't big enough to serve more people, even if they were to add more tables. It cannot be made profitable.

She's a failed restauranteur, but somehow people thought she was qualified to run the province?!?!

Joined a counter protest today in response to the Million March for Children fascists, who think they have the right to abuse their kids. Last year they had thousands, this year they *might* have had 100 show up. They didn't even stay until 4 like they'd advertised 😹😹 I guess us gays were too scary
