if you have any Qs about programming fundamentals (I'm a software dev) feel free to msg about them, but I'll say the 2 most core fundamentals that come to mind are probably understanding what variables are (i.e. data) and that your lines of code are always executed in order, from top to bottom

you're fine, learning a totally new skill all at once can feel overwhelming depending on how much you're trying to ingest. I'm learning to draw rn (drawabox) and I can tell that I'd be overwhelmed by everything if it wasn't explaining everything very slowly step by step
