Nothing brings me joy like a Judge absolutely destroying this DOJ in an opinion
failed to show proper purpose. The Government has not submitted any affidavits or other evidence to show proper purpose. See Comley, 890 F.2d at 541 ("[The affidavits of government officials have been accepted as sufficient to make out a prima facie showing that these requirements are satisfied."). Instead, the Government simply points to the April 22, 2025 Memorandum of the Attorney General directing the Civil Division "to undertake appropriate investigations" to make the argument that since the Government would not have issued the subpoena unless it was for an "appropriate" investigation, the subpoena must have been issued for a proper purpose. This logic, if followed, would preclude any form of judicial review as the Government's self-proclaimed say-so would always be sufficient to defeat a motion to quash. This is no logic at all.

After I noticed that NPS had erased word "bisexual" from their page about Stonewall, I passed that tip along to @erininthemorning.com and she wrote a story about it.

I'm now happy to report that have added back the mention of bisexual people!

In it they clarify that "intimate spaces" includes bathrooms, locker rooms, and lactation rooms.

It asks all departments to report their status of implementation by August 11th, 2025.

This year it will decided "whether laws that seek to protect women's and girls' sports by limiting participation to women and girls based on sex violate the equal protection clause of the 14th Amendment."

🚨 Department of Justice targets DIY HRT in Memo

In a memo dated June 11th, AG Bondi has tasked the Civil Rights division of the DOJ target all entities involved with gender affirming care for youth.

This explicitly INCLUDES online pharmacies which are often used by those obtaining DIY HRT.
The Civil Division will use all available resources to prioritize investigations of doctors, hospitals, pharmaceutical companies, and other appropriate entities consistent with these directives. These efforts will include, but will not be limited to, possible violations of the Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act and other laws by (1) pharmaceutical companies that manufacture drugs used in connection with so-called gender transition and (2) dealers such as online pharmacies suspected of illegally selling such drugs. 31 U.S.C. § 301 et seq. In addition, the Civil Division will aggressively pursue claims under the False Claims Act against health care providers that bill the federal government for impermissible services. This includes, for example, providers that ttempt to evade state bans on gender dysphoria treatments by knowingly submitting claims to Medicaid with false diagnosis codes.

PROTECT YOUR DATA: • Use a strong password and remove fingerprint unlock & Face ID. An officer could try to physically force you to unlock your device • Take photos/videos without unlocking your device • Back up your data. Your device may be damaged, lost, stolen, or confiscated • Enable full-disk encryption on your device • Install Signal for safer communications • Wear nondescript clothing and cover identifying features. Avoid being identified through face and tattoo recognition technologies. PROTECT YOUR LOCATION: • Enable airplane mode and turn off location services • Download area maps and plan meeting spots ahead of time • Consider biking or walking. Prevents license plate readers from recording your vehicle's exact time, date, and location • Disable 2G on your phone to prevent your phone from automatically joining a cell-site simulator's network. The Supreme Court is allowing the transgender military ban to go into effect.

This signals that SCOTUS will rubber stamp anti-transgender policies and laws. This is a devastating day for transgender Americans and I fear darker days are still ahead of us.
