We are concerned for food allergy families affected by the ending of SNAP benefits due to the government shutdown. We urge the Administration to release SNAP contingency funds, or direct other available funding sources, to allow SNAP benefits to be restored.

A new CBS New York segment showcased encouraging findings highlighting a 43% decline in peanut allergies among children. Experts credit this to updated national guidance recommending that parents introduce peanut-containing foods to babies between 4 and 6 months of age.
