I won't watch Severance. Everyone was too annoying about it. I don't like it when people demonstrate such an unhinged capacity for wonder that they're practically in tears over a show on Apple TV. Haven't you ever read a book? A POEM?? Seen a sunset? Been in love????

I would love to believe and endorse the oft-given advice that "nobody is thinking about you" but unfortunately my favorite activity, either alone or with a friend, is closely observing strangers in public and speculating wildly about what their deal is

I'll never be notable enough to do a Grub Street Diet but occasionally I think about the discourse that would have been spawned had I done one during the time I was editor of the Sentinel — it would have been so unhinged I fear that would've been my legacy

There is a lot of misinformation swirling about ICE and BP activity, arrests and deportations. I wish everyone would pause before circulating unverified claims.
