Indiana had another golden opportunity on Thursday to cement its spot in the NCAA Tournament. Instead, it was another opportunity that passed by. And in many ways it was a microcosm of IU's season as a whole -- failed execution. #iubb

Today -- and all season -- the opportunities have been right there for Indiana but the lack of execution and inability to finish off possessions and games continues to be the thorn in IU's side. #iubb

Indiana on life support right now -- down 7, with Oregon going to the line and 3:06 left. Hoosiers scoreless over the last 4:27 and you can feel the offense trying to force the issue over the last few possessions. #iubb

Trey Galloway and Malik Reneau have combined for 20 points on 8-of-13 from the floor in the second half. The rest of the team with just five points and is 2-of-7. #iubb

Indiana is +14 in the paint yet only 10-of-23 on layups. Hoosiers leaving quite a bit out there and in a game that will likely come down to one or two possessions, those are obviously extremely costly points. #iubb
March 13, 2025 at 5:38 PM
- IU just 5-of-14 on layups
- No production whatsoever from Luke Goode and Myles Rice ... just can't happen
- Much better on the glass than 9 days ago
- Minimal shot-creation at the moment from Indiana
- Oregon getting too many clean looks from 3

Half: Oregon 37, #iubb 29

Never understand the quick trigger to pull a player with 2 fouls. Mike Woodson always plays that game. Mackenzie Mgbako nails a great stepback on one end but picks up an aggressive foul on the other. Oregon closes on a 13-2 run while IU goes 2-of-7 to close the half. #iubb

Brandon Angel entered today with one of the past nine games in double-figures and just 2-of-15 from three in that span.

Has 10 points and 2-of-2 on 3s in seven minutes. We'll see if he's able to keep it up, but huge lift for Oregon to start. #iubb

As dominant a half as you'll see. Indiana looked dead and out and came out with the type of energy and effort that it hadn't shown all year. Absolutely tremendous performance in the second half for IU in a game it had to have. #iubb

Indiana playing to just run out the clock over the last few possessions -- way too much time to do that. Some nervy energy on the floor. Need to continue to stay in attack mode and put the game away. #iubb
