Btw I’m not advocating for a mid-season sacking. I do however think it would be foolish to not replace him this summer if this awful form persists. Many, many better managers will be available after the World Cup.

Ange lost Kane and the team improved to 5th. I’m not convinced we’d create as much as you’d think with those guys in the team. Frank hasn’t demonstrated any structured build up play or central ball progression. He has no history of playing good possession football. Why settle for “reasonable”?

Cry me a river. Historically lucky health bill the last two seasons.

Our squad building strategy is completely incoherent. Buy high and sell low! Buying names without any thought to where/how they fit in or develop. It makes no sense to have both Odobert and Tel AND a young Mikey Moore waiting to break in. Occasionally you have to sell a player you like.

I’m wondering why there is no one forward? What are the players being trained to do? You’d think we have the pace/personnel to play some sharp counterattacking stuff but it appears Frank doesn’t want to for some reason.
December 22, 2025 at 5:02 PM
Agree with all your observations. The ref had a nightmare. What I can’t understand is why our counterattack is so ponderous. Kudus must be told to check back and/or players must be told to not make runs into open field.

Locatelli would be a dream. Agree that MF passing is priority #1. Maybe Don Fabio can get a final Serie A deal over the line before he hopefully f*cks off to Fiorentina. Paratici is slimy but he can negotiate a transfer. I have zero faith in anything Lange does.

Their offense is certainly better without him. Dray is a legend and the greatest defender of his generation. However at this stage of his career he has to be among the worst offensive players in the NBA playing 30mins/game.

This kid is special. Remarkable composure and court awareness for someone so young.
December 21, 2025 at 6:25 PM
That’s fair. I’m sorry for my Spurs pessimism! I’ve gotta snap out of it but I worry that no matter who we bring in the attack won’t improve under Frank. I just don’t see Savinho, Deki or Dom making a difference in the current structure.
December 21, 2025 at 6:23 PM
Absolutely. I need someone somewhere to give me even a glimmer of hope for Spurs this season. I’ve never been more disinterested, apathetic, and bored. Can’t even get excited about the transfer window because our technical directors are ass and the new ownership is actually the old one.
December 21, 2025 at 6:14 PM
Genuine question…why would he want to join this trainwreck? Surely he has better options where he’d still get playing time. By January 10th we’ll likely be out of the FA Cup and in a relegation battle. I’m already fearing a Micky transfer request this summer.
December 21, 2025 at 6:03 PM
Maybe (I hope so). I think it was likelier the desperation and ill discipline that you see from bad teams. Potentially ones that don’t trust the manager. The proof will be in the pudding at Selhurst Park and I’m not optimistic.

Brilliant coaching move for Kerr to suddenly DNP him the last 3 games. Not like he could have helped…
December 21, 2025 at 3:37 AM
It’s almost like he should have been playing the last couple games instead of getting DNP’d for no reason.

This season could not end soon enough. Given what Leeds just did to Palace today we are going to get pumped at Selhurst Park next time out. They’ll be looking to make amends and we’ll be flaccid as usual
December 21, 2025 at 12:00 AM
Sure. I just don’t think we played well. We did play better than against Forest if that’s what you mean. In the end it was a lack of discipline you’d see in a relegated side. Liverpool are not good and were poor today. I’m genuinely glad you’re able to take positives from this but I don’t.
December 20, 2025 at 10:31 PM
Funniest (or saddest) thing is that most of those scorelines flattered us.
December 20, 2025 at 9:45 PM
Spurs edged a first half where both sides were poor. More boring shit. Liverpool were there for the taking and any side with a half functioning counterattack is up by 1-2 goals.
December 20, 2025 at 9:41 PM
I honestly think that makes it worse. You look good and still lose. At home. The other team looks bad and still wins. There are no moral victories. This is what happens to very bad teams.
