I agree with you in principle. However, if you look at the NCAA basketball tournament, if a team wins its tournament and has it under 500 record, it goes to the tournament also.

Of course it's not. They can only control overnight rates. They can't control the 10-year bond which is directly associated with mortgage rates. Getting rid of his tariffs would have been the answer.
