He didn’t fail anything, Max already had a commanding lead before the McLaren became competitive. It would have taken a masterclass and all results to go his way to win it which, if you have watched formula 1 for any amount of time, rarely if ever happens.

I agree that Sopranos is better but The Wire is a slow burn and incredible TV. Someone I worked with once described it as a live action book. I’m kinda jealous you’re on your first viewing.
