Yes, it is. Not least there is no black cloth dye in existence. What you get is either the deepest, darkest, blue, or, as in the picture, the deepest darkest brown.

The omly problem is that legal routes are available, there is not the infrastructure to support them.

The simplest answer would be to go to the British Embassy in their home country. They cannot be turned away. Embassies everywhere are considered to be the home soil of the country they represent.
