Been behind on reading and posting here, but this feels like a time that Erik Larson would write about. Saw his The Splendid and the Vile on a bookshelf in a YT video and began to think our current moment is reminiscent of In the Garden of Beasts.

I've been thinking of Howl for years after reading it in school, found it for 50 cents at a library sale. Just something about letting it all go in meter and with poetic density resonates with me. My thought processes often feel like this, so thought to check the source itself again.

Day late, but just wrapped up A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving. Now that I'm older, it feels a little odd to see lil Woodstock eating a turkey. Yes, it's a cartoon and birds eat other birds all the time and the feeling remains. Anyways, now that this moment is cleared, I can go all in on Christmastime 🎄

At the age where I can read without glasses or use reading glasses with contacts. Thought I couldn't focus because normal glasses were getting scratched up, turns out I'm just getting old 😴
