Former founder and National spokesperson for Labour for Independence. A lost voice without a party that represents.
Today was the death knell for yourparty Collective Leadership doesn't work in terms of media messaging or making decisions at pace. Worse still the vote to allow you to be member of other parties creates a messy situation and allows poisonous infiltrators that gave ruined so many left wing projects

Just to be clear... You can grieve the terrible atrocity at the synagogue in Manchester and still protest the terrible atrocity happening in Gaza. Despite what the UK govt says its not mutually exclusive.

Ahh Labour, the party of the workers...

This is day 2 or 3 after @yourparty.bsky.social 2nd membership launch. When they had the sign up we were given daily info as to the huge number. Does this mean membership sign up has not been desired uptake?

This is shameful and heartbreaking. The world must do something. Children are starving!

Would be very interesting to see how many no voters in 2014 realised they made a mistake. Still shocked that after Brexit, the Tories and Starmer support for Independence isn't through the roof.

Is that the name they are going with? The Collective?
July 9, 2025 at 7:32 PM
who is behind Collective Scotland? Seems they are running the Scottish wing of Corbyns new party. Any information? @ungagged.bsky.social @nwscotty.bsky.social

How nice to be told by Keir Starmer that my mother who delivered babies, as a midwife, worked nights and damaged her back lifting patients as a nurse, was a pillar of her community as a health visitor has caused “incalculable damage” to the UK !

Imagine voting consistently for a Labour Govt, waiting 14 years and ending up with this. Starmer is peddling to the far right with this rhetoric.

Wes Streeting should be no where near a Labour Party membership much less a Labour minister

Have to almost admire the blind loyalty of Anas Sarwar to renage on his own words to support a UK Labour Government at the expense of him likely becoming FM... and his Party and Country
May 3, 2025 at 4:06 PM
The only conclusion I can make is that Starmer is colour blind and tried to join the Tories at university and thought the red was blue.

This union is rotten. And clearly no Labour govt is going to fix it. Time for Scotland to get out now! #YouYesYet?

It's a baffling tactic by Labour to turn further right and further from your own party's values to combat the far right. Even more so when you see the electoral success in Canada and Australia pushing against Trump. www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2025...

Halfway through watching #ManUtdVsManCity I stand by my previous comment, The EPL is boring!

Watched #FMQs from this week, I've never been a big John Swinney fan but it might just be the ineptitude of politicians around the world that make him seem a steady hand at the wheel.

Completely agree with the message however there will always be some within this party that don't want it to grow. There is a huge void where a working class party in Scotland could fill. Why isn't it happening?
Labour? Tories? Reform? You couldn't fit daylight between them. It's one big party - the party of capital, for capital.

We need a working-class party for the working-class majority instead:

I'd love to know how Fox News is spinning this... #tariffs #Trump

Wow! A brutal rebuke of the Scottish Tories turning further to the right by one of their own.

Imagine if we were still part of the EU, purchasing products through the largest free market in the world. Working collaboratively to secure defence and holding Trump to account. Instead we get Brexit and Keir Starmer as PM
April 3, 2025 at 8:50 PM
But but but.. we still want to sell you things!
April 3, 2025 at 8:47 PM
Not really a surprise! This isn't really a Labour Party.
