This is being framed as a requirement for coal. What is required is synchronous reactance (any rotating (electro-magnetic) generator run as synchronous motor with enough mass will provide it (inertia). Not an energy shortfall. aemo.com.au/-/media/file...

The approval of the Karratha "NP-LNP processing plant" life extension 2030-2070 is disappointing. It makes the, as yet unapproved, Browse Gas field Project financially viable. The main pollutants from the plant (CO2, NOX and SO2) are emitted by the 85Mw gas-fired power station supplying the plant.

Your hypocrisy in publishing Daniela Gavshon's "opinion" is galling.

The Government maybe. Chinese people fought the Japanese on Mainland China. Th atrocities were committed on Mainland China. The Japanese killed 260000 Communist Guerrillas. Confederates and Unionists both celebrate 4th July

6 million Chinese killed, 4 million civilians? Commemoration. Similar to Hiroshima Peace Day, Asst. Minister Wilson attended. Maybe political ideologies can be set aside for such occasions.

Hamas political/paramilitary (terrorist). Sinn Fein political (we ourselves)/IRA paramilitary(terrorist) would be the most worthwhile lesson. Hamas's political arm needs to separate from the paramilitary and rebadge. We ourselves equivalent to From river to sea. Political belief (Australia has ONP).

NATO intervened in the Yugoslavia Kosovo conflicts 1990s under UN Mandate, No fly zone, bombed Yugoslavian military etc. to protect. Similar (required a multi state solution). Different (No hostages no Oct 7). Arab League to supply troops? Blue Berets = IDF targets. Afghanistan mk2.

No Israeli military aircraft (apart from drones) have been damaged by Hamas. So why would you waste expensive F35 airframe hours. Like using the Mercedes to plow the lower 40 when you have 3 John Deeres in the shed.
August 17, 2025 at 12:44 AM
F35s striking Gaza? Expensive aircraft to risk against Hamas who have no Radar. Iran Yes. They have a lot of F15s,16s that are just as lethal, way less expensive to operate and maintain, and are just as effective against a low tech adversary.

Gorillas are not native to Malaysia and do not naturally occur there. Malaysia currently does not have any gorillas in its zoos after being caught out in a major controversy. You would think Nick Adams, not being wild caught, would be a welcome addition.
