BigMeat is the other end of the spectrum: JBS, the world’s largest, is responsible for + CO2 emissions than Spain. And, just like Big Oil, the meat & dairy giants (JBS, Tyson, Danish Crown, Nestle, Danone) are swimming in greenwashing: none of them intend to reduce animals slaughtered / year.

Almost two-thirds of the industry’s expansion plans exceed the International Energy Agency’s zero emissions by 2050 scenario. At an energy conference in Houston in March, Saudi Aramco CEO Amin Nasser said: “We have to move on from this fantasy of abandoning oil & gas.”
