Twitch may not be a necessity for you but it is for other people's income streams and if you have no alternative that will help them your comments are meaningless.

I hope that person can somehow see these messages (I understand if not though). Do better. Admitting you were wrong is not going to be the end of the world. Aim higher do better. Do not fake apologize.

Snark is still good if it is funny and speaks truth to power. This is not speaking truth to power, it is stomping all over the little guy (us). I don't even consume soda anyway but I especially hope that people dodge coca cola products as much as possible.

It is not just one specific person or event, it is sustained behavior over time. Fandoms harass marginalized peoples, not exactly a new development. But some actors are trying to say "we do not support the bad behavior of actor x/y/z" when they never seem to care when marginalized actors are (1)

The context is only: people are being two faced. That's it. They say things when it is convenient for them, but when a situation calls for real and significant action, people refuse to stand up and do what is right when it is too inconvenient for them. That is what OP is talking about.

I wish everyone's rights could truly be protected. I think though in regards to this conversation, this is an attempt to make a new mental framework for people who do not agree with you. People legitimately do not agree that gender/sex are nonbinary. You have to start there.

No, the replies are actually attacking him directly. Someone else asked me for proof and I shared. People cannot handle their emotions in a mature and constructive way. It is not surprising at all that this would cause stress and frustration for Joe.

Stuff like this is what Joe is regularly having to deal with. This person is not expressing any kind of capability to handle their emotions in a mature way. And again, getting mad at Joe solves nothing. He is not the one who formulated the Collaboration.

There is a difference between being disappointed and expressing your disappointment in a mature way, versus literally what half of the replies are doing to Joe. I have seen people straight up cuss him out. For what exactly? He has no control over anything that is happening. He reports news. The end.

I hate alcohol so bars and parties are a strong no for me. The thing I do to have fun (and meet people) is play Pokemon Go. Almost every single weekend I go out and play with people who I met after I moved (I move like every two years, happens way too much).

Someone who literally had never spoken to me once in my entire life found me on Twitter and added me to a "Union Shill" list (I actually think unions are important so the list is just hilarious) because they were mad that I have friends in the Voice actor union and I support them.
