Lapsed medieval historian, US history teacher, para educator, PCA, NetGalley reviewer, book lover, and geeker out over many things. When I'm not immobile from invisible illnesses. Ally to everyone except jerks.
I had a reputation for drafts with footnotes that said things like - that article by what's his name about bears + Monica Green + marmots. Total gibberish to everyone but me 😂

All the ways colonizers are terrified of the colonized... Thanks for the amazing read! I'm in awe of your productivity. When are you doing a zombie seminar? (Wink wink nudge nudge)

I wish he were on this platform! I follow him elsewhere and he was super wonderful to work with when I used one of his pictures for a journal article I was working on

Missouri, yes that backwards state, has a statewide consortium! No ILL needed. It was awesome!

Reviewer #2 on my undergrad thesis: why didn't you quote this Spanish book? Me: because I started my research with the English version that was printed first and didn't know it was in Spanish. Why? Because there were 2 copies, each in a different library in Spain. ILL for a hard-fought win!

You mean this isn't just part of having a "visual brain" or being a "visual learner"? Huh...
