I agree we need to get back on top of drone development with the caveat that they be used to supplement our forces and not replace them. The small drones that have had great success in Ukraine may not work as well against all possible opponents.

Yes, your leads will be near the bottom of your spine as you have lower back pain. They would place above the ribcage if you had hand pain. My pain was also near the bottom. The pain location determines which vertebrae they place the leads. Mine went in T12 and L1. So, near my hip area and abdomen.

Be prepared for a lengthy recovery. If they place the leads above the ribcage, they will never move. The pain relief, when it worked, was amazing. The burning and crushing pain was gone. I could not feel the electricity from the stimulation unless pressure was applied to my spine.

Lead migration has become better over time. My advice, if you go through with it, is to not move or lift anything for 1 year. No bending. No twisting your mid section. I was the 3rd patient in my country to receive the treatment and that particular surgeon's first. Learn from our mistakes.

My big issue with DRG was that the leads migrated. 1 of the 5 leads that were placed are still functional, it does not cover the worst area of my pain. When it worked I was able to hike down 2 km into a volcanic crater. We added a pain pump and that is helping. Next is a regular spinal stimulator.
