I've always thought of getting a tattoo. My sister has them. So does my daughter. I said to myself, "Maybe when I turn 40." Then, "Maybe when I turn 50." Time passed. When my daughter turned 18, we got matching tattoos of the state flower where I was born.

Work in Progress. Using yarn from Pom Poms that my kitten destroyed. She apparently doesn’t like Pom Poms. Magenta from a hat. Orange from slippers crocheted by my late abuela. Green ones I cut myself from an old crochet project that never got off the ground because I don’t know how to crochet. #art

I never noticed the tiny holes at the bottom of my shirts until a few years ago. Apparently, it is from my untucked shirts rubbing on the metal snap on my jeans. I’ve addressed the situation.
