He was about to be employed off the rez when the car died before. A job will help him and us tremendously and a half.

I checked for gift cards for tire shops and haven’t found one yet, but I’ll keep looking.

Please share if you can. Our family appreciates you so much!

It was a great effort for us to do that and we’re so proud of it!

Back to the car.

Tires will help achieve our independence and even employment. The oldest has applied to virtually every business in Pine Ridge, the casino and even Oglala.

A cuz offered to help build an outhouse and even provide materials for a chicken coop. He’ll also move our platform.

I’ve probably mentioned before, but he showed our platform to others in construction who were as impressed as he was since it’s solidly built, level and square.

We have plans on building so we all have privacy at last. We also want an outdoor kitchen set up before it gets cold; seems early to worry about winter, but it isn’t, I promise.

We basically want to be as off grid as possible before winter to be as prepared as possible.

Once we expand the platform and get the tent up, we can put in for sewer, water and electricity. We’ll also need to ensure we have wood for winter in case of any power issues; not sure we can get a line just for the tent heh.

All of us are looking forward to this next chapter.

We are close to having our ducks in a row for our plot. We’ve also been putting in employment applications since the car is running. It is truly vital to our independence.

My plot needs to be staked. We need to move our building supplies to get our tiny home platform up first.

For example, there was a lot of yelling and berating over any little thing when ma tried teaching me so I was mostly self taught. I try to nudge Raph when needed as well as compliment good practices.

Four way stops could use some help right now. And braking a tad quick.

I don’t want to lose all my teeth but it feels inevitable.

Good vibes request. Pet pics. Quotes. Memes? I am one hurting unit right now and no stuffed animals nearby.

This reminds me of when I had my first tooth pulled. Lio had this stuffed wizard Mickey Mouse. He inched over to me and handed him to me. ‘Mickey will help you feel better.’ Oh, how I cried. That memory is helping now though.

Numbness is wearing off. Can’t stop crying.

I need to get glasses if I’m going to drive. I hadn’t before because I couldn’t afford an eye exam, let alone new glasses. I have an old prescription online. With a clearance frame, it’s $115 for the replacement. If not the car, please consider helping me with glasses first!

Mechanic $200

I need to register and insure it for the first two months. The car needs tires, probably a battery and a few minor fixes. I also need to pay our amazing mechanic for figuring out what three other mechanics couldn’t. Please, please share if you can!

We have been stuck in so many ways in not having a vehicle. We have land leases, but need to be there for the survey before we can move. I’ve had health issues and hadn’t the means for after hours or emergency care. There are many reasons we need a vehicle.
