The farmers protests this week have weakened their case. They have brought the tax situation to public attention. I expect many of us didn’t realise they paid no IHT. The new arrangements seem fair given allowances, 20% tax paid and the 10 year period to pay v immediate payment for everyone else.

In the 70s as a kid, I went to the Saints whenever I could. After years of living away I finally have time to attend the next seasons fixtures. I’m sooo excited.

Just 10 more days in this place that’s been home for 17 years. Happy to move on to our new home but the emotions of leaving something behind are kicking in really strong tonight.

Winchester city council are to buy 146 house in a new housing development. This is a fantastic move which will help families to have a home in one of the most expensive cities in the UK.
