In ON, private clinics are offering diagnostic imaging with the sales line of “Peace of Mind is a Scan Away” as opposed to being based upon the recommendation of a qualified practitioner or as part of a provincially supported screening program.

How does this mesh with the Canada Health Act?

The “third lesson” describes the risk of a measles infection.

Individuals with vaccine concerns should have those discussion with their clinicians. If they remain opposed (without a medical reason) then they need to accept that they may be helping spread the disease.

In the richest country in the world, many working families cannot afford to purchase food.
"More than 35% are in working families (14,594,125)".**

It affects all people across all levels of employment or wage scales,.

Sadly so true.

Regardless of our more educated society we still fall for the ruse of conspiracies.

It’s really not very different than how in the past we decided that harmful events were caused by “witches” or lack of sacrifices to the “gods”.

SAN FRANCISCO, Oct 27 (Reuters) - “Amazon (AMZN.O), opens new tab is planning to cut as many as 30,000 corporate jobs beginning on Tuesday, as the company pares expenses and compensates for overhiring during the peak demand of the pandemic.”

“The market loves stability” and job cuts of course.

That is an excellent but unfortunate summary.

I mentioned last week that it appears that our societies have become like binary code; you are either a 1 or a 0 with nothing in between, ahead or behind.

We are anything and everything but.

With all the attention on the Etobicoke Canadian Tire story, this one isn’t receiving much attention!
A NB Shellfish processing plant was fined $1 Million in Sept 2025 and is banned for using the TFW program for 10 years.

Consider the technique used to subdue this individual.

This police officer in the foreground is kneeling on the arm above the elbow and holding the wrist of the same arm.
The elbow is a hinge and pivot joint,
but it cannot “hinge” backwards. Pulling the wrist upward would cause excruciating pain!

In July 2010 the United Nations General Assembly recognized safe clean water and sanitation as basic human rights.

This right applies to all people in all nations including detainees!

Without knowing the story, I am trying to imagine what is going through the minds of these children, pushed up against a wall by armed men with masks but without uniforms, struggling to hang onto one another while being violently pulled apart and they snatch one and whisk him away.

It’s similar to how teenage pregnancies drop off by the time young ladies mark their 20th year. Sometimes science can’t explain everything; sometimes it takes many deeper dives; opinions from non-professionals or comments from basement scientists, soothe sayers, crystal sorcerers orTarot readers .

Tossing that woman in the air to land on her backside in pavement was an assault and very dangerous for the protestor. Serious injuries to any level of the spine, pelvis, hips, arms or
legs were possible.

Tossing that demonstrator into the air causing her to land on her backside onto pavement was a very dangerous assault.

I’ve seen people toss out garbage bags with more care. It’s all on video!

(For reference I recall the civil rights protests in the ‘60s; batons, dogs, water-cannons, tear gas.)

There are just so many degrees of
separation.
I read your post and was struck by the term “Scienceploitation”.

Struck because I’d seen this term before, maybe some years ago.

After a few clicks on the Google machine I find it; from 2018.
Serendipity over zemblanity!

As an FYI or amusement, be aware that the “CRA Refund Scammers” are back at it; or never left.

•The country code +63 is usually Philippines
•Govt email don’t use .com or “myylo.vip/refund/“
•Never update your info via a message sent to you
•the Govt won’t ask you to activate a link by clicking Y/N

Described by Richard Hofstadter in his 1964 Pulitzer Prize winning: “Anti-intellectualism in American Life”.

“A rejection of the intellect…a resentment of the life of the mind, and those who are considered to represent it; and a disposition to constantly minimize the value of that life."
