Happened to us too - we had a plumber doing work on the boiler and the floorboards had been lifted up - later that evening we could here the cat but couldn’t find her till we worked out where the sound was coming from - she suffered no ill effects

I did Latin at a state school in the 80s it was compulsory for the highest two sets in year 7&8 obvs didn’t choose to take it as an o’level - it didn’t really benefit me in any way
