It would have been a hell of a lot easier if people didn't just come in with lies and insults minute one and instead actually explained things. This is the reason given for why so many people who used to be left wing they are turning right wing now, and honestly it's pushed me one step closer.

What I'm sick of is the way that everyone on here is just pure extremist, you either believe them 100% or get attacked. But truth is never 100% on either side. The reality I've finally exposed is that he probably wasn't a terrorist, but also wasn't just grabbed for no reason at all.

Interesting that you think I watch Piker when you're saying exactly what he's saying and the video was actually against him. My political compass puts me right in the middle of the left libertarian sector, which is very left wing to most people, I'm about as far from fascist as you can get.

That definitely makes them an enemy, but I'd argue that the organisation that committed thousands of rapes, enslaved Palestinian people, took away women's rights, captured, tortured and killed children before dancing around their bodies, and used schools as human shields, is the greater enemy.

There is, at least to me, fairly convincing evidence used within. However, the video itself is not evidence, I agree. The problem is that there's not really a lot of evidence going around anywhere.

I believe Hamas may have once been freedom fighters, but certainly by this point, with thousands of rapes, enslaving Palestinian people, making women second class citizens and having dance parties around baby corpses, they have lost the right to that title

Hamas has been labelled a terrorist group by almost every state in the world for almost 30 years. That pretty effectively counters the bias factor.

I don't think that the case was handled well at all, and they should have investigated before jumping to conclusions, but it's clearly not just "Palestinian student being arrested for protests", it's more "Syrian student was arrested for suspicion of terrorism relating to activist group activities"

Yeah, generally if a bunch of people come out and accuse someone of being a terrorist, it doesn't come from nowhere. Especially if they take the time to actually make a report. Even if the reason ends up being they were all racist, the reports should still be taken seriously until that is found.

That's not much, and the only relevant part is the part where people accused him of being a terrorist, which would give the government a good reason to suspect him of being a terrorist, as he admitted himself with the fear that he would be deported

For one thing, that's not the government's case against Khalil, it's Khalil's case against the government. All it has in it is his lawyer's word that he was the victim of a doxxing campaign with people accusing him of being a terrorist, and that he was arrested with improper procedure.
