I got home and immediately emailed @halfwayupbooks.bsky.social with our wishlist. They’re 30 min from us, but still the most reliable and dedicated children’s shop around. They’re growing readers, not just making a quick €. And we need more shops like that.

Oh it’s amazing there! I’m back in May, too. They have a lot of trails for running but I make a loop on trails and local roads to get in 5km. You’ll love it. Bring comfy clothes, lots of books, and chocolate. 🍫

I’m out on sub with a teen murder mystery atm, but my debut is definitely teen, though it’s shelved as YA in most places due to a lack of shelving for teen books.
