The NHS #10YearPlan calls for a shift to prevention. But what does that mean for dementia, MS or Parkinson’s? People with lived experience preferred “stop diseases before they start” to describe primary and early secondary prevention (clearer language that made more sense).

Awareness of possible preventative measures was highest for dementia: 43% said they knew what to do to prevent it or had some knowledge. Fewer (< 10%) knew about MS and Parkinson's disease preventative measures
